Charges
- Initial consultation is free of charge.
- Work is charged per hour at the agreed rate – see webpage for current rates.
- Timetracking software will be used and a report attached to your invoice
- If a task looks like it’s going to take longer than initially agreed I will get in touch to discuss before proceeding.
- I can do urgent jobs in a hurry but this will incur an extra charge. Please get in touch to discuss.
Limitation of Liability
- Care is taken to produce work of a high quality and standard, however I am human and mistakes do happen, it is the ultimate responsibility of the client to quality check any work produced. All errors will be rectified free of charge if I am notified within 48 hours.
Sending receiving work
- Work to be undertaken can be received by email attachment, file transfer, post hard copy or pen drive. I will generally use Google Drive, drop box or encrypted email to protect the transfer of your data.
Communication
- Whatever works for you! Emails are probably best for out of hours and either phone or email during working hours. Any emails received outwith working hours will usually be dealt with the next working day.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
- Saturday and Sunday 10am to 4pm
Holidays/Sickness
- I will give as much notice as possible of holidays (at least two weeks notice)
- Sometimes life happens and I may need to take a day off for emergency or sickness. I will endeavour to give you as much notice as possible and make arrangements to complete work as soon as I can on my return.
Data Protection/GPDR
- Your data is important! I will do all I can to protect it by using secure passwords, 2 step authentication, data encryption for emails, virus protection and VPN. I am also registered with ICO and fully GDPR compliant.

- Professional Indemnity Insurance through Markell – copy available on request.
